Central Sector Interest Subsidy (CSIS)
CSIS has supported interest subsidy during the moratorium period (course plus about one year) for eligible students from economically weaker families who take a model-scheme education loan from a scheduled bank.
Income ceilings and claim windows are set by the Department of Higher Education. Canara Bank has acted as nodal bank for related processes. Confirm the current limit and how to claim on the official education loan page of education.gov.in or pmvidyalaxmi.co.in.

Practical checklist
- Identify your exact course, exam or objective, since requirements differ.
- Check primary information from the relevant official organization; note its publication date.
- Save documents or examples you need and verify unfamiliar claims before acting.
