Build a targeted preparation routine
Focus: architecture aptitude and drawing-related abilities. Practice spatial visualization, proportion, perspective and quick sketches from observation. Photograph paper sketches to review proportions; use digital MCQs as a supplement, not a substitute for drawing.
A repeatable practice session
- Choose one topic you can explain and one you usually miss. Spend ten minutes recalling rules or definitions without notes.
- Attempt a short unseen set without interruptions. Mark any answer you guessed so you can review it later.
- Review every incorrect answer: write the correct reasoning, identify the wrong assumption, and retry a similar question two days later.
- End with a mixed timed set; stop when errors show you need more concept review rather than another guess.
Measure useful progress
Consult the Council of Architecture notice for current paper structure and eligibility. Keep a short log of accuracy, time per question and which topics still require revision. Practice question counts are not evidence of official exam coverage.
